Sony released their latest compact camera Sony Cyber Shot DSC-H70, which is equipped with a 10x optical zoom ranging from 25mm to 250mm. Pocket camera that is designed flexible enough features 16.1 Megapixel sensor and Bionz image processor that offers good speed and high quality images.

Cyber Shot DSC-H70 has a two-stage aperture, which is extremely varied ranging from f/3.5-f/5.5 throughout the zoom range, and the alternative is a wide-angle f/8.0 aperture. To overcome the blur caused by camera shake. Sony DSC-H70 has been using the lens with optical stabilization mechanism that works with built-in gyro sensor to detect a moving subject with accurate focus.

Face detection function can be disabled if desired, and can be programmed to give priority to either adult or children's faces. AF system also can operate either in central or spot AF mode, and include AF assist illuminator.
Aside from being able to record images with good, DSC-H70 can also capture video with a good though only providing quality HD 720p (1.280x720 pixels) or VGA standard definition (640x480 pixel) with 29.97 fps video recording capabilities. Video recorded with MP4 compression, and includes mono audio. Cyber Shot DSC-H70 can also capture a few shots with just sweeping camera at the scene, and then incorporate them in one long picture. Camera is available in black, silver, blue, or red.
