Pentax has recently announced a new compact to a range of Optio W series, the twelfth generation camera which he calls the adventure series. Pentax Optio WG-1 GPS has a design that is dynamic, but full-protection, body shape resembling peanuts covered with a layer of rubber with the best quality, which makes it even more sturdy and is perfect for outdoor activities.

Optio WG-1 GPS equipped with a protective compact body that makes it able to survive in the water to a depth of 33 feet, dust-proof, anti-shockproof to five feet, crush proof up to 220 pounds and stand frozen up to 14 degrees Fahrenheit.
WG-1 GPS is also equipped with a 14 Megapixel CCD sensor, Pentax-branded lens with 5x optical zoom. In addition, this compact has a 2.7-inch LCD screen with 230,000 dot resolution and is equipped with advanced features for use outdoors, such as a GPS function to identify goals and we are the natural contours.
Other facilities that support the WG-1 GPS is a Secure Digital card with Eye-Fi compatibility and support for the latest generation of SDHC cards and SDXC. There are features of USB 2.0 High Speed on the camera body, standard-def composite and HDMI connectivity definition with high quality. Pentax Optio WG-1 GPS uses a lithium ion battery D-L192. The price of this camera for about $ 420.
